屋已设计的新工作室位于北京市朝阳区一处由工业园改造的文化创意园区内，180平米的长条户型内部层高五米左右。原身是上世纪70年代的锅炉房。我们特意保留了原始红砖墙、梁柱结构的建筑肌理，以粗糙的“非完美”状态加入历史的温度和故事。


设计师在改造时首先选用了在建筑设计中常用的混凝土，浇筑出一张9米长的桌面连接起前厅象征精神力量的多层次空间装置和后方的休闲沙发坐台区。然后使用5厘米*5厘米的镀锌方管拼出物料架和壁炉，挖掘出独属于建筑材料冷静克制的美感。另一个重要概念是空间的尺度感，30厘米的黑色方格地面、通长的木板书架是隐藏在空间中横向和纵向的“标尺”，共同打造出专业又更具生活化的开放式办公空间。


WUE Design Studio’s new office is located in a cultural-creative park in Beijing’s Chaoyang District, converted from a 1970s boiler room. The 180-square-meter, five-meter-high space preserves red brick walls and exposed beams, retaining raw imperfection as a trace of history. 

A nine-meter concrete table anchors the plan, linking an entry installation with a lounge area. Galvanized steel tubes form shelving and a fireplace, expressing the restrained beauty of construction materials. Spatial rhythm is articulated through a 30-centimeter black grid floor and a continuous wooden bookshelf, functioning as hidden rulers along both axes. Together, these elements create an open office that balances professional clarity with a lived-in warmth.
